Comments:
As Van der Werf notes in his edition of the melody, sections were left out in the main staff system and added in the margins. Part of phrase 7 that was added in the margin is still extant but part was lost likely when the manuscript was trimmed at some point. This inserted passage is written level with staff system 4 and is surrounded by '''' in the transcription here. Phrase 5 of his edition provides 3 notes to complete the end of the line from the inner margin; however, only the first of those notes is visible in the digital image used for this transcription. As I was not allowed to examine this manuscript in 2013, I have not seen those notes personally and have surrounded them in my transcription here with <>. They are given in Van der Werf's edition as a binaria on FG.
