Comments:
Trouvère O has in old French on f125. In phrases 2 and 4, the third-to-last note is an F that in the manuscript is preceded by a natural sign. Van der Werf transcribed these as sharp signs in his edition. It is not possible to represent a natural or sharp sign at F in the current Volpiano system as that mark would be unexpected. This is also the case for the second-to-last note group in Phrase 7, FFe.
