Comments:
The last ternaria of the final phrase appears to read AEG in the manuscript (Cuesta uses this reading, while VWE uses AFG). The series of notes is not typical for the extant melodies (there are no other cases of it appearing in one neume- for AFG in one neume, there are two occurrences, one in the same melody and one in the other melody on 203v). The final phrase ends with the same four neumes as the first (ternaria, punctum and plica, binaria) on the same series of pitches, with the exception of the first phrase having AFG instead of AEG. This is likely the reason for Van der Werf's decision in his edition of the melody. For the sake of following the manuscript, this transcription uses AEG.
