This melody has been almost completely excised, leaving only part of the last staff system visible. There are three notes visible on that line, over the word "bens." The text of that line is "venge bens amoros et plansem"(?). Part of this text and the notes are obscured in the color images on Gallica, but are legible in the b/w images. This is the only extant melody for this song; the text appears in 11 other manuscripts, allowing the index listing of this song to be confirmed by the remaining text here. Based on the other texts, there should be nine verses in the stanza, so the transcription marks the first eight missing phrases and that the surviving notes are not the beginning or ending of the phrase.
