Van der Werf (and Sesini) include in their notes, verse 4 was originally omitted and was then added at the bottom of the column with its insertion point marked with an arrow. (VWE 5*; Sesini 187) For this transcription, the insertion is marked with '''' before the first and after the last notes. This results in an odd arrangement for the line breaks found in phrases 3 and 5 since in the manuscript phrase 5 has two notes on the same system as the conclusion of phrase 3.
